so if the hawks win, they play at 3:30 tomorrow, and if they lose they play at 8:30?

I honestly have no idea what to expect here. As long as the Hawks don't lose because they're cramping up, I'll be happy.

I have to work late, so I'm taping the KU game so I can evaluate the whole thing for myself.

That's backwards if they win they play @ 8:30 tomorro night. Also, if they lose the game will only be on ESPNU (meaning most won't get to see it).

Well that is stupid. WTH don't they show that on ESPN2? Or do they have more important things to show, like poker?

They are trying to sell a new network to cable companies. It's their first step on the path toward the dream that is "The Ocho".

It's on ESPN (206 on Directv) at 8 PM Central. I had to go look it up because nobody posted it.

Yes, I understand that. I still think it's stupid. But I do realize it's a business and they're trying to drum up demand for their new network.

Maybe they just don't think a consolation game between two unranked teams is worthy of jacking up their afternoon line-up.

Haha. Actually, they are showing a soccer game instead of the KU game.

I imagine it will be a hard adjustment for KU fans to get used to their basketball team not mattering. FWIW, I thought they did a good job of hanging with Arizona for most the game.
