Too bad he already won a SB going against the Raiders. Coaching the Chiefs could have been an ultimate slap in the face to Al. It would still be a slap in the face though.

Jeff Fischer
Perhaps I should elaborate. Fischer has done more with less talent than we have ever had in his time with the Titans. His reputation is tarnished because they have had to field so many bad teams due to salary cap hell, but he is still a damn good coach and definitely the kind of personality this team needs. It's obvious Gunther's "scream and berate" style isn't working and neither is Vermeil's "supportive latent homo-erotic father" approach. |

I actually like that idea. The question is, would Carl like it? I seriously doubt it. I don't think Tennessee is ready for him to go either.

I would be upset if you guys ended up with Mariucci. I'm not worried about that, as Carl is still the GM, and he'll probably do something completely stupid like promote Gunther or bring in Martz.
Herm Edwards wouldn't be such a bad selection for you guys.

Herm Edwards is a tool of mediocrity. Mostly he's just a tool. He'd be PERFECT here. We're never gonna win anything in my lifetime. |

Bad moves: Herm, Saunders, Martz, (All would keep the same lame ass defensive coaches since they are all from the same tree) Herm also hired Jimmy Raye and Paul Hacket. Enough said.
Good moves: A coach that brings in a decent staff. Guys who actually know how to COACH players and aren't 100 years old. Time for the Chiefs to find another coaching "tree". This one is rotten and DEAD. |

And for the life of me, I can't understand why ANYBODY would want Jeff Fisher. He's produced the same thing in Tennessee that we hate here - mediocrity. |
