Jerome Bettis is great. He's a great person and a great player. I've always liked the guy. I wish him the best...after we play him.

I really like Bettis. I'm **REALLY** glad his career didn't end on that fumble. That would have been a truly horrible ending to a truly great career.

The Steelers truly saved his career. Pefect player with the right team. I remember around 95 when he was still with the Rams and underperforming, they pretty much ran him out of town. They actually drafted Lawrence Phillips to replace him...hahahaha....
Bettis is a class act all the way.

I'll join the lovefest. I think that Bettis took over for the Rams after Dickerson left (or at least very soon thereafter), and after Dickerson's prima donna stuff, Bettis did exactly the right thing. He had rushed for a ton of yards his first year, and when they interviewed him at the end of the year, he said, "I'm going to go work out this offseason so I can gain more yards next year." I liked him from that point on, and remember being surprised that the Rams would let a guy like that go.
