Study Hall "Pocket Pool"

After 13 years in the classroom, I had a first today....

A male sophomore student created a disruption in study hall by engaging in self-stimulation; specifically.....shall we say, "disciplining his primate." Once the disruption became clear and had been brought to my attention by other students, I thought he'd quit and give me an "out," and we could pretend it wasn't happening....so we could "ignore" it. Alas, he insisted on spending 20 seconds to "finish." Thus he had to be sent to the office....

I guess the dude had a Valentine letdown.....but I also wonder if it had something to do with this week's release of SportsIllustrated's annual swimsuit issue.....

Either way, the dude needs to develop some social skills. We are thinking he almost assuredly was "under the influence" of something....because he's a pretty normal kid, otherwise.

I just don't understand why teenagers can't just wait to go home and do that.

Is study hall still in the cafeteria? It's bad either way, but the fact that he could be doing that where people eat...

I understand if your sexually playing with a lady somewhere in the school bulding during class hours. I have and my ex and I almost got caught. Principal saw us walking out of a closet and later asked me what we were doing alone in there. "I had my hand up her shirt, sir."

I found out before if you told our principal the truth about something like that, that he never believed you. So I told him the truth and it worked.

If a person has to do it during class hours he's got a severe problem. Wait 8 hours and do it when you get home.

That would give one pause about asking for Mayonaise with their sandwich, I suppose....

No. It's a regular classroom. No one wanted to sit anywhere near his desk after he left....
