The Very Best...?

I am putting together a few compilation cd's for a canoe trip. I want the best songs ever written on there.

So what are your favorites? I know it's hard to just pick one, but when you think in your head "What is my favorite?", there should be one that pops right in there. Thats the one I want...I will take all my selections from this board, so make em good!

My choice will be Pink Floyd-Comfortably Numb.

Of course my contribution will be from ZZ Top and for the well known and oft heard I'd suggest LaGrange,however,if you're looking to get off the beaten path then go with Heard It On The X,a short little rocker that has some great pickin' in it.

Chag that stuff (minus the Doobies) is too fancy for a river. You have to take things you dont mind ruining or getting wet. Plus I just like to feel as hillbilly as I can when I go on a float trip.

Dude, come on...Hoegaardedn isn't fancy, they just always pose it like that in the pictures, it's an awesome ale to drink in the summer time - I strongly support it as a better summer beer than anything Domestic, ever!

But I guess if you want to be hillbilly and all, okay but why the hell would you want classy music?
