Greatest Live Album?
Live After Death by Maiden immediately comes to mind. As always I'm gonna pimp Queens of the Stone Age via this year's "Over the Years and through the Woods". Kiss Alive is probably one of the more known live records. I believe Frampton Comes Alive is the biggest selling live record ever. Johnny Cash's Live at Folsom Prison is also a classic. I've considered picking up "Past Lives" by Sabbath but haven't done it yet.

Maiden's "Live After Death" is really good, though I think "Rock in Rio" is better. Rush's "A Show of Hands" is quite good, and I expect "Rush in Rio" is as good as Maiden's similarly titled album, but I haven't heard it. The main reason I haven't gone out to buy it yet is that I saw them on the same tour, so I got the experience much better than a DVD will ever bring.

A couple classic live albums:

Styx "Caught in the Act"
Cheap Trick "Live at Budokan"

And, considering my username, I would be remiss not to mention Nightwish's "From Wishes to Eternity."
