I'm very surprised that he left Atlanta as he was the heir apparent to the GM slot when Shurholtz retired. Either way... you have a damn good GM working for the Royals now. I would not be surprised to see them show some remarkable improvement before the end of this season. |

We traded for the guy who use to sing for Rage Against the Machine?!?! Awesome!!!!!! Bulls on Parade! I just had to say that, since it was the first thing I thought.

I like it.
25 year old pitcher with a live arm who needs work > mid 30s utility player making $2 million. Not to bash on Graff. He's a solid veteran who can play a lot of positions. There's a reason why two teams in the hunt have wanted him two years in a row. |

Looks pretty good on the surface. I guess De La Rosa is someone with electric stuff, but control problems. He's been pitching down in AAA the last month or so, and there he's pitched 6 games, 30 innings, 3-1 record, 2.40 ERA, 1 HR, 3 BB, 23 K. Looks like his control has been much better in the minors... and they traded him to us for Tony Graffanino. Interesting.
