Single-game, roundtrip Chiefs Express tickets are available for $8 each when purchased in advance online or at Chiefs Express Ticket Outlets. The tickets are ideal for fans who don’t make it to every game. Or, the Chiefs Express Season Pass is a bargain for fans attending every home game. For $70, fans can take the Express to the 10 home games – that’s just $7 a game. No Express ticket or season pass? You can still catch the Chiefs Express on game day. Simply pay $10 exact fare when you board the bus. Metro Reduced Farecards are not valid on Chiefs Express. Transfers are not accepted. Catching The Chiefs Express The Chiefs Express serves fans along three routes and at 14 free Park & Ride locations throughout Kansas City and in Blue Springs, Lee’s Summit, Raytown, Kansas City, Kan., and Overland Park. Just park at the site most convenient for you, and you’re ready to go! The first Express bus leaves the first stop on each route 2 1/2 hours before game time. Additional buses depart as they fill, with the last bus leaving the first stop on its route approximately 1 hour before kickoff. (The last bus may not reach Arrowhead before kickoff.) After the game, buses leave promptly. Chiefs Express Park & Rides Ameristar: Ameristar Casino is located at 3200 North Ameristar Drive, south of Highway 210. Park and board in the parking lot south of the main drive. Look for Chiefs Park & Ride signs. Bannister & Drury: Park in parking spaces west and north of the old Red Lobster. Board buses on Bannister Road, east of The Metro bus shelter. Blue Springs: Commuter Lot at I-70 & Woods Chapel Rd., Commuter Lot on North Ridge Dr. behind Price Chopper, and White Oak Mall. City Market: 3rd & Grand. Independence: Main & Truman Road. Board the bus on Main. Lee’s Summit: Commuter Lot at Chipman Rd. & Blue Parkway. Board at south exit of lot. Metro North: North end of mall parking lot. Indian Springs: Off 47th & State in Kansas City, Kan., at entrance to Indian Springs. Raytown: Herndon Career Center School on 350 Hwy. Board on north side. Rosana Square: 119th & Metcalf on east side of mall parking lot. Board on far east end near exit drive. (This service is operated by Johnson County Transit’s The JO.) Waldo/Brookside: Park & Ride lots are at 74th Terrace & Wornall and Gregory & Wornall. Passengers may also board at any northbound Metro bus stop along Wornall between 74th and Meyer, and at stops eastbound along 63rd Street from Brookside to I-435. Chiefs Express Routes Downtown/Crown Center: Major stops at the 3rd & Grand Park & Ride, 10th & Main, Downtown Marriott, Union Station, The Westin Crown Center and Hyatt Regency. Country Club Plaza Route: Major stops at the Marriott Hotel and Four Points, as well as the Fairmont, Quarterage, Ambassador and Hyde Park. Kansas City, Kan.: Board the Express at all eastbound Metro bus stops along Minnesota Avenue between 38th and 8th Streets, on State Avenue from 7th to 6th streets, and on Minnesota from 6th to 4th. It's all sarcasm. You can visit that place anytime but the Arrowhead parking lot is the best party in the nation 8 times a year. Why anybody would "tailgate" anywhere else (and pay 400% markup) is a mystery to me.

I wasn't tailgating at the falloon, we would take the bus from there about 2.5 hours before the game and tailgate at arrowhead.
Without a car our options are limited. If anyone has other ideas it's appreciated.

I was expecting a little more help than this. Anyone know of other options to get to the game with ample tailgating time. If anyone wants to pick me up at the plaza before the game that would be great too.
