Should Sampson Lose the neck-roll?

It sometimes looks like he can't get his head up or turned to pick up the rusher especially from the outside. Does anyone know if he needs the neck-roll for medical reasons?

Obviously, his pass blocking footwork still has a long way to go, but the guy is a beast when he gets squared up on his opponent. He just seems to struggle with recognition and positioning. Way too many whiffs.

Neck rolls don't hinder a player in any way. They just look like they do.

And personally, I love the way they look. Makes you look like a big hulking beast. Gimme a big friggin' neck a roll, a huge caged face mask and a dark visor. BOOYAH!

I think he needs new shoes and gloves because for some reason there are times when his hands and feet are in the wrong place.
