Who would have thought....(news to me, kinda).
While looking up stats for an upcoming powerlifting meet I found this:

Powerhouse Jason Whitlock from the Kansas City Chiefs was also reported to bench pressing 600lbs.

Thats a great lift no matter how you look at it. The world record un-equipped benchpress is 715lbs. I have been to MANY powerlifting meets around KS the past few years and the biggest bench I have witnessed anywhere was 600lbs and the guy was using a bench shirt. I have a bit more respect for the big tub o' goo now ( from another tub o' goo).
How sad though....

Now his biggest lift is getting his butt out of bed each morning.

This has to be a misprint. No way in hell Jason Whitlock ever benchpressed 600 lbs, I know he was lineman for Ball State in the late 80's, but c'mon now, if he was using his mouth or something, he could lift about 3 or 4 '57 Chevys at once. A friend of mine once squatted 775 lbs at once, but that is different. If this is true, Jason, step up and say you did it. Like he is member here, but, oh well, I thought I would try anyway.

If you read the fine print at the beginning of the article it says its for entertainment only and that some of the stats could be different.
