thank goodness for Norton Ghost


just totally killed the OS apparently ... blue screen of death ... wouldn't even hint at booting.


but i have my OS on it's own partition ... lost 6 months of stuff because i hadn't backed it up recently.



but still back up and running in 20 minutes.

I consider myself to be a low-level Mac fan. I'm a PC user, but I grew up on Macs (parents are both teachers).

put a new system together for under $300
dual channel pentium D, gig and a half of ram, 6800 Nvidia card, asus motherboard
got to use alot of my of stuff
got a bud with same cpu has it overclocked to 3.6 Ghz
will try it soon
