who's turning out to be a helluva player...what other college player did we try out (and who also wanted badly to play for the Chiefs)...then have Carl suprisingly just pass over on draft day?

Carl passed over everyone and decided to himself that he just didnt give a shit about the draft and drafted 6th or 7th round talent in the 2nd round in Junior Siavii.

I remember when we did that. I screamed and yelled at my TV because I had never heard of the ****ing guy. Then I looked up on some mock drafts and they had him going in the 6th or 7th round. 5th round would be pushing it.

We switched picks with the Steelers...something like 16 to 27. The Steelers took Polamalu and we got LJ (as was stated). We traded out of our spot because there wasn't anyone on D who could help us.

That was a great run by Dockett on that interception return Monday night. It was too bad that his knee touched the ground; you don't often see a defensive lineman pop up from landing on a defender, keep running, and then do a 360 spin to avoid another tackler before scoring.
