Anyone been to a Chiefs/Raiders game in Oakland before?

I'm going on the 21st of October. A lady I work with has season tickets and is giving them to me for free. Any tips? Bulletproof vests....helmets....

And other bodily fluids. Also, when unopened it can be used as a weapon. Dual purpose.

The fans there would like you to think that what will happen to you is similar to you avatar after you are thrown over the rail. The truth? Well, it is a bunch of fat, bald, goutee wearin, tough guy wanna be types that wear masks to make themselves look more evil than they are. I haven't been there, but a bud of mine went, wore his chiefs gear, and said there were verbal insults, but most were in jest. He said as long as you dont sit there hootin and hollerin about the crappy faders, you are fine. He said he wanted to laugh at how they make the "black hole" seem so badass, then there are a bunch of short tubbies there in evil outfits.

I was out there for the 2001 game on business. The game was blacked out locally, so I decided to go. The locals told me not to, so I called the Raider's office. They told me not to come if I was going wear any Chiefs gear, or even cheer for the Chiefs.
I ended up playing golf at Half Moon Bay and listening to the game on an ipod thing. It was a tough loss, 26-28 IIRC. It was very difficult to concentrate on Golf.

See...to me that's ****ing lame. You have a problem with your stadium then if you're telling the other team's fans not to come if you're going to cheer for your team. No wonder they never sell out.

Don't wear any Raider gear either. They can spot a imposter a mile away. I went to a Raider-Bronco game a few years ago in Oakland. Other than feeling like I was on the set of "Mad Max, Beyond Thunderdome" it was fun.

I'm just planning on going there in normal everyday clothes. I'm sitting pretty high up too and according to the lady who's giving me the tickets....they're on the visitor's side. So hopefully I'm surrounded by Chiefs fans. Maybe we'll make a convoy from the game to the parking lot.

Agreed, that is why I didn't go. I also knew I couldn't keep my mouth shut cheering for the Chiefs. The way the game turned out, especially.
