yesterday was kinda nice

I haven't missed a game in 6 years, and prior to that, hadn't missed one since 1988. Most seasons were good and I roughed out the last few games of the bad seasons to "be a loyal fan". I am not as pissed as many here, and am giving Herm one more year due to the fact that this team was, talent wise and age wise, perhaps the worst in the league when he inherited it. However, I dicided to skip the game and stay home. Chili, a couple of good beers, watching the game with my family in the basement (shameless plug, thanks Phil) and shooting my rifle outside. All by 3 o'clock. Cant say I missed being out there for this one. I may go back next week, we'll see. I m sure I will be back all pumped next year. But it sure was nice not being too pissed at the loss. Hell, I am shootng for the draft pick now.
