He has done a decent job of signing reasonable contracts.
EDIT: Didn't read the title. I DO NOT want Carl Peterson to be the General Manager of the Chiefs. |

I'd let him stay for another year if he took a lesser job as the guy that picks up cups/trash after home games.

Well this ought to be a short thread.
1. He strives for mediocrity. 2. I...I got nothin

He has accomplished a lot in KC. He made Chiefs football relevant when it wasn't. He helped make us competitive year after year. The fact that the sky is falling because we are having one bad season when we made the playoffs last year shows how much he helped change the expectations of Chiefs fans. Before he came, it was just excepted that we sucked. If he were to get fired today, he would be leaving the Chiefs in a much better position than when he got here.
All that being said, it is time for him to go. He has not won a Super Bowl or been competitive in the playoffs and it is time for the Chiefs to go in a different direction. I still think he should stay on as the President as he has great business savvy. |

He's made the Hunt family a ton of money. He's a tough SOB negotiator. That's all I got.

It wasn't like this in the 90's, but nowadays with a salary cap it's not that hard to make your team a little over mediocre.
