Honestly, Giamatti's performance in those clips was laughably bad, IMO.

Just finishing the first episode, and this is GREAT!!!!

Seems to be fairly accurate, so far (with a few timing and story tweaks). But the acting is VERY good, and I like what they are focusing on , in this first episode, tons.

Speaking of Washington, David Morse is dead on in his portrayal. Even better than Jeff Daniels in The Crossing. The likeness is amazing.
