That's a weak promo. I guess they're just trying to make sure people don't forget about the show.
The 3 hour season premiere is sweet though. |

It's not the WORST promo since they probably haven't shot any footage yet and it does tell you what the next arc is. |

They got kind of double-whammied with the strike and a short second season that a lot of the fans didn't like.

Last season was so bad I can't even remember how it ended or what it was really about. I just remember Kristen Bell joined the cast.

Skip it. It doesn't even compare.

I liked the Monroe storyline. The season just took too long to get into.

The second season was hurt twofold. First, it is essentially incomplete. Second, the creator took a gamble at the wrong time. He apologized for it before they rewrote the last few episodes and closed off a hurried season 2.
I think its quite unfair to compare season 1 and season 2 when season 2 barely got fleshed out. Moreover, if we are to go by how season 2 ultimately ended its truncated season, it was probably on pace for a better season than 1. However, no one will know because a) it was truncated and b) the writers knew it had to be truncated and acted accordingly. Heroes is probably the show worst affected by the strike. |
