1) MSG Bundle: $499 for console +MetalGear Solid 4 game + Dualshock 3 Sixaxis controller.

2) (possibly the last) backwards compatibility for PS2 games

3) Fall releases: Little Big Planet, SOCOM confrontation, Resistance 2, Motorstorm Pacific Rift.

4) Blu-Ray movie player

5) Remote play and network-ability with PSP.

The Dualshock should have been included from day one. And why the hell can't Sony make up its mind about backwards compatibility. It's in, it's out, and now it's back in.

thats why I got mine..I was buying a new 42" plasma and had to have blu ray and figured why spend $800 on a blu ray player when u can get a blu ray player and ps3 for 600?
