I have decided to remove my endorsement of the Ultra Peanut campaign.

I have nothing but respect for Ultra Peanut and felt honored to run against her in my party's primary. We share many of the same interests, including It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Calvin & Hobbes, and calling people "bundle of stickss" for no good reason.

This may be interpretted as a sour grapes post for not getting the VP selection. Those who choose to think this way may continue on in their ignorance. It's simply not true.

This also may be interpretted as a disapproval for the current VP pick. Again, not true. I've always admired Zach and his spunky, attitude around the forum. He's an all-around good guy and would be a great candidate on a presidential ticket.

The fact is that I feel a better direction for my party could have been taken. I've been thinking, and I feel that the CRONUS/Simply Red ticket offers more of what I stand for. It's stated quite clearly as "Serious Business. Reduced Government."

Therefore, it is at this time that I endorse CRONUS and his running mate Simply Red for the executive office of Chiefsplanet. I feel this is the best course of action for the Planet. I also invite any posters who voted for me in the primaries to join the C/SR campaign and give them your votes.

We all have a choice and each person's choice is to be respected. The most important thing is that you do use your choice and vote in the upcoming election.

If there is anything the office of UP can do to listen to some of your concerns and have a discussion about the issues you face in your day to day we will always leave a door open.

Unfortunately, this is another example of the CRONUS/Simply Red campaign (and its affiliates) spamming the board.

Also, this ~~switch~~ flip-flop invites the question: how much "careful consideration" did it take before offering a CasinoCash figure worth selling out for?

The UP/Zach campaign is being run with a considerable deal more tact, imo.
