Teicher: Gonzalez back at practice, will play Sunday
Chiefs notebook: Gonzalez back at practice, will play Sunday Gonzalez returns Tony Gonzalez has missed two games since joining the Chiefs in 1997. He sat out a 1999 game against the Bears because of a knee injury and a 2006 game against the Raiders because of an ailing shoulder. He won’t add to that total in Sunday’s game against Buffalo. Gonzalez, who injured his knee during last week’s game against New Orleans, returned to work Thursday and will be ready to go against the Bills. “He’s a tough guy,” coach Herm Edwards said. “Tony doesn’t miss a lot of games. It’s hard to keep him out of a football game.” Defensive end Tamba Hali also practiced fully for the first time this week and could be available for Sunday’s game as well. Linebacker Derrick Johnson and cornerback Brandon Flowers were also full participants. Wide receiver Mark Bradley, defensive backs Jarrad Page and Pat Surtain and linebacker Pat Thomas were limited participants. Linebacker Donnie Edwards and guard Adrian Jones did not practice. Savage on squad A day after he was released, the Chiefs re-signed rookie running back Dantrell Savage to their practice squad. Savage until recently was the Chiefs’ return specialist but wasn’t having much of an impact. He was averaging a respectable 24.1 yards per kickoff return but only 2.1 yards per punt return. Rookie wide receiver Kevin Robinson has replaced Savage as the primary returner. Savage also has 53 yards in 15 rushing attempts. Blackout avoided The Chiefs said they have sold enough tickets to avoid a local TV blackout of Sunday’s game at Arrowhead Stadium. The game will be shown live on Channel 5 in Kansas City. |

I honestly dont think that they sold enough, i just think the NFL is giving teams the ok to not have a blackout due to the economy.

Guys, they are probably damn close to the tickets they need sold just with STHers.
All an empty stadium means is that STHers that have already paid for their seats are not showing up... |

This! I know of a couple who have moved down here from the KC area who had already purchased their season tickets. They've been trying to get rid of them because the product on the field doesn't justify a 3 hour round trip drive and the money spent on the tickets. Good seats, I'm trying to see what it would take to get these from them, but I'm lacking in the cash department right now.

Carl, Herm, and Clar.....Oh wait he's going to the soccer game. Sorry.
Another thought, anyone think Bradley will play this week? I hope so because it seems like Thigpen has really developed a good rapport with him. Moreso than D-Bowe or Tony even.
