Like I mentioned on the Draft Party thread...the Royals have a home game vs Detroit at 6pm the day of the draft...could get together at the Rivals Sports Bar at the K before the game & discuss the draft & catch a game that night.

Wasn't there a thread about someone getting a CP party together on the Party Deck sometime soon?
Edit: Thought so: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showt...ght=party+deck |

I like the GA invasion idea, but that Party Deck would be an awful lot of fun.

The biggest challenge I see with trying to catch the draft and a Royals game in the same day this year is that the draft doesn't even start until 3 and Royals start at 6.Couple that with that being the Royals game when they're giving away the free 40 year anniversary jerseys and I see us having to choose to do one or the other because the crowd at the K that afternoon will be huge.

Not to nitpick but there is no Jumbotron anymore. There's an open air bar where it used to be. You probably were just talking about the scorebord anyway.
I'll be there Friday night May 29th for the annual gather the family from around the nation at the Royals game. My semi-rich sister/Bro-in-law buy good seats for everyone in the fam for a fireworks game. If you all chose that game I would try to come by a tailgate, otherwise no clue when I could make it out again. Schedule a date and I'll try to make it. |
