I didn't watch Freeman against other teams, but he looked really bad against MU. He was incredibly inaccurate and skipped several passes to his receivers. The pick 6 he threw to Willy Mo was brutal.
As long as Freeman was at K-State, I liked MU's chances of winning the game.

We had quite a few QB's at K-State that won many more meaningful games than Freeman ever did - none of them were drafted on the first day of the NFL draft.
