Scott Pioli gets ZERO credit for Eric Berry

I'm pretty sure everybody in the room had a gun pointed to his head telling him to take Berry. Berry was a goddamn no-brainer in ANY front office. Be it Matt Millen's, Al Davis's, whomever you want to put in there.

He nailed a no-brainer pick. No matter how good it was, that doesn't make up for the rest of the bullshit he's pulled in these NFL drafts. It's been two years and he has ****ed up every goddamn round.

Berry wasn't a **** up. Asamoah was okay.

But to trade up for Moeaki, when Pitta, Hernandez and McCoy were all on the board, was delusional. They guy has talent, but he's never seen a full season due to injuries. You can't even begin to tell me that taking Pitta in the fourth and still having one of our fifths versus Moeaki, with concussions and sprains and broken bones and giving away one of our fifths was a good thing.

And this is the second year in a row that he's traded up for a tight end. Traded up. For a tight end. When guys like Pitta, Hernandez and McCoy were going to be there six/seven picks later.

**** you.

Here is why Pioli know longer gets a pass.

The Patriots are making trades left and right and grabbing more picks.

They have 2 firsts and 2 seconds next year already. They made 4 trades in the 2nd round, right? Maybe all day. Whatever.

The Chiefs made a trade... and gave up 2 picks for it.

It is crystal clear in my mind that Pioli have VERY LITTLE to do with the success in New England. He should have stayed there, and stayed a myth.

Patriots have had many shitty drafts, so why you are acting like they're great at drafting is beyond me.

I'm not defending pioli here, but if you're going to try to compare a team he should draft like, patriots should be on the bottom of the list. Baltimore would be a great example.

It is becoming painfully obvious that Fat Scott was to Belicheck what Reggie Love is to Barack Obama... a yes-man, water-carrying stiff.

Well, if we had received the Messaih of the Ravens franchise as GM, I would compare.

I'm saying, it's becoming clear that Pioli wasn't the man at all in NE. Pioli is the wizard behind the curtain. A nobody.

Hell, Bill Parcells hasn't won anything without Belichek either.

Pioli and Parcells are both byproducts of Belichek's brains

I don't know if I buy that. Belichick is a great coach, but he's not mastermind-level. His team hasn't done shit in a few years, and we'll see if he can keep the dynasty going after its been faced with some setbacks. Also, let's see this team operate without Tom Brady.

Why do people keep on saying that we gave up two picks to make this trade? We gave up one. We gave up a fifth to move up from the fourth round into the third round.

Does misstating the price of moving up help rationalize all the outrage?
