I guess people in Springfield don't smoke or drink,
or the ones who do just don't vote.

Smoking ban for all Springfield businesses...

I'm a non-smoker, and I don't drink at the movies, but there's nothing like people taking away people's (namely business owners') rights one proposition at a time.

Maybe this should be in DC. If so, move it. Just thought I'd get people's opinions.

I won't comment on the smoking part, as I'm sure that's about to blow up into a nice spirited debate.

The alcohol thing is odd to me, though. I mean, I think that MOST theaters shouldn't have alcohol, but there's an "adult" (not porn) theater near me that has a full bar and doesn't allow kids in. It's a lot of fun.

Agree 100%.

I can see the family theaters not serving alcohol (all our theaters are considered family, I believe), but, even then, I can't think of once instance that I've heard of where there have been any problems caused by it since they started serving alcohol (beer).
