In the end, if I'm not mistaken, Andy played a big part in the aggressive move for mahomes. And Ive never been so excited for a qb move in my entire life. He was responsive for Alex, but he's also responsible for mahomes. And when I hear Andy to talk about him, I can tell he's giddy about turning him into Brett Favre. I won't cry if he goes. But I don't mind seeing what he can do with mahomes. |

Reid is probably the best coach the franchise has had since Hank Stram. He has a lot of faults, but you aren't going to find many out there better than him.
Reid's issues come from personnel and his desire to exercise too much control over that element of the franchise. It torpedoed him in Philly, and it will get him here. That's where he needs to be reined in.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this.
I’m not prone to firing him because he is a winning coach and I don’t believe there is any coach out there right now that is better. I don’t see him winning a SuperBowl. I think he will go down as one of the winningest coaches in NFL history without a Lombardi trophy. Reid’s problem is he can’t grow as a coach because he doesn’t learn from his mistakes. I like the fact that he is a winner but on the other hand his success is limited because of his coaching flaws. |
