Chiefs Cool Footage from 1968

I saw this and it brought some thoughts to mind. 1968 was the year before Chiefs won SB IV. Jets won the Superbowl that year in this same stadium. Also, I think this was the first year the Chiefs wore red pants on the road. Before that it was all white over white. Finally, if you look at the results of this game -KC kicked the crap out of Miami in their crib- that may have been some revenge fuel for the game three years later in KC for the longest playoff game ever. Lots of players from this game in 1968 were in the game in 1971. The 1971 game was the last one played by Johnny Robinson. Interesting stuff. Love the 1960's music bed too.

Before this falls off the front page, I want remind people (including myself) again just how hard it was to bring Otis Taylor down. As often as not, he'd catch a ball, get drilled, and shrug it off and keep going. HOF Damnit!

I only saw him drop one ball in all the games I watched him. That was against the Dolphins on 12/25/1971
