Usually, holding a team to 34 points does not qualify a team for any honors at all. But when the opponent is the Rams, and that's the fewest points they've scored this year, and you beat them, it does. The Chiefs' defense is one of six nominees for ESPN.com's Prime Time Player for Week 8.

As much as I'd like to, I [i]have to[/i] cast my vote for C Dillon's 278yd performance yesterday! Not only was it an NFL single-game record, not only did he gain those yards on a mere 22 carries, not only was his average over 12 y/p/c; the victory was over our rival: the Donks! The guy single-handedly embarassed and humiliated the franchise. Mega-props!
