Besides Gates and Rivers, who else is notable from the Chargers roster over the last 5+ years? If I'm the leader of a defense and sacrificing my body to lead the league in tackles at my position, I sure as hell would be asking for my fair share of the pay. Especially when a POS named Flowers isn't doing crap and getting paid handsomely. Weddle had an argument for it and wanted an extension because they gave him a contract that ended when he turned 31 which they knowingly would put him at risk of making a run for another decent sized contract. It's negotiating 101. Use your brain, kid.

When you go to Wal-mart/Mickey D's for your bi-annual job application, do you ask for the same pay from 2012 or are you negotiating for fair market value. Just curious...
