Internet Debate: 100 Men vs. 1 Gorilla

This has been going viral the past couple days.

Who would win in a fight: 100 unarmed men or 1 gorilla?

I personally think the sheer number of humans would overpower the gorilla and people are both 1. Underestimating how many people 100 is, and 2. Overestimating the strength and stamina of a gorilla.

Verdict: 100 men win fairly comfortably with the caveat that there will be some casualties.

What say you? 100 men or 1 gorilla?

Maybe people are overestimating the stamina, but in terms of strength, they're pretty damn powerful.

Agreed. I wouldn't give 20 men a chance. It would take the gorilla about three seconds per man to turn them into pudding. You have to have enough men being turned into pudding to exhaust the gorilla.

Seems like it would be a piece of cake for the 100 men, as long as you could determine which ~30 of the men are willing to die while tiring the gorilla out...

And while we're here, I'll note that 100 men would not stand a chance against a gorilla-sized ermine. The cleaning staff would be mopping blood off of the ceiling afterwards.

Weird how life comes around. I took this class in zoo school and I'm glad to share knowledge. I don't think you need a 100. 25 would do and each of them would have a specific task around one goal. The balls or asshole. Nail those 2 down and you have yourself a conquered silver back.

Gumption is really all this is about. 100 humans all dedicated to the cause is too much for a lone gorilla. They wouldn’t even have to fight it; they could just dog pile and suffocate it.
Have you seen the 5 IG models vs 2 guys? The guys were just pummeling these chicks. Was hard to watch 15 times in a row jk. Was brutal though. I don’t think the women were ready to actually take hard punches to the face.

This is an estupido debate for Rarrtards that failed out of preschool. This is not a debate. The 100 men? 4 Men would do it.

Now if you want an interesting hypothetical to discuss and debate, pick something reasonable. A touch more intellectually challenging.

But how are the men actually inflicting pain on the gorilla? Punching it? it’s 500 pounds, and I just don’t see the men being able to all get close enough to overwhelm the gorilla enough, or to hurt it by punching it. The gorilla could probably back itself into a corner and take out all of them about 5-8 at a time as they approach. Not enough room for everyone to get in there, and it could probably push 3-4 men back at a time by just flinging by its arms. If not starts punching the men as they approach or grabbing them, and using them as a weapon. The gorilla will wear down, but still how will unarmed men actually kill the gorilla if some are able to outlast its stamina?

Was this hypothetical dreamed up by the same people asking women if they'd choose a man or a bear in the woods, by chance?

The Gorilla is much bigger and stronger than the biggest human. I don’t give a shit what training you have, you see the first 10 guys getting their heads smashed and and spines crushed screaming in agony, you’re pissing your pants.

500 pounds? That's a huge gorilla. The average gorilla is probably closer to 350.

If we're doing that, do I get to use Brian Shaw, Tom Stoltman, Eddie Hall, etc, to fight him, or are we talking average 185 lb men?

There's an edge to both sides if you want to skew it.

Enough volume is going to overwhelm the gorilla, no matter how strong. I'd think enough humans pinning it down, you could get to vital areas and claw your way to bleeding it out.
