I mean, he's been no worse than a league average hitter since he stopped switch-hitting before the 21 season, so "sucks balls" seems like a dead-wrong take, but you do you.

If Johnny Giovatella was any good at baseball, he would have caught on elsewhere. He did not.

AAAA player all the way.

Giovatella was a good player for the Angels for several years after sitting the bench for Chris Getz, who always sucked. You're wrong about him.

Yeah his career amounted to nothing in the scheme of things. That wasnt his fault, it was the Royals fault.

And yes, Mullins sucks balls. You're wrong about that too. He's cooked.

By several years, do you mean he got one season of full time AB for a bad team, posted a sub 700 ops, was never a regular again, and was out of baseball two years later?

Gio just wasn’t quite good enough. The Royals certainly didn’t hold him back. He just didn’t hit enough.

And Mullins is cooked? He’s one of the best hitters in the American League and has been an above-average performer offensively for five straight seasons.

Maybe sit a few plays out and don’t talk for a while. You’re embarrassing yourself.

I’m talking about the fact he got full-time playing time for a bad team (though it was the 2016 Angels that collapsed to a sub-.500 record, a team he wasn’t good enough to be a regular for).

Don't make me do spreadsheet work on my one day off. Is your position that Chris Getz was better than Johnny Giovatella during the, let's say, three seasons before the Angels acquired Giovatella? WAR is a counting stat I might remind you.

My position is that neither one of them was good enough to be a major league starter, and suggesting the Royals screwed over Gio is stupid.
