lol no you are blaming NIL. Your point was never "why is this one specific kid entitled and a full on dick bag" you're out here blaming paying players. My point is NIL had nothing to do with his garbage attitude and everything to do with how he was raised and the content of his character.

Saying NIL is just a cop-out because you want to make a larger point. A point that most of us think is a misguided one. Paying college players had very little to do with why Shadeur Sanders is a spoiled player with huge red flags. You're getting called out on a dumb assumption and you don't like it so you're moving the goalposts now.

Yes and no. Shadeur real down fall seems to be the decision not to hire an agent. I think a agent would have had some heart to heart with him on how to handle the interview process. What to expect in the interview process. Without an agent seems like he was expecting a recruiting type of a process under NIL, rather than a job interview. The alleged disagreement with Dabol, not expecting those question and handling being called out seems to be an example of this.

Not actually dealing with a coach who was not his father also probably seriously hurt him. No one to go to to talk on how coachable he is and whether he loves football. Whcih maybe could have offset a bad interview. But without that, the teams only had the interview experience to draw on. But I think Deion seriously thought he was a top 5 lock and could dictate where he would be drafted. So a GM and Coach had little to draw on and probably came to the the kid is entitled, Dad is a real problem if it goes south and wasting a first on him is a bad idea.

In some ways it has made their job easier. They no longer have to wait to see what happens to a person when they get paid.

Those who quietly cash the checks, spend it wisely, and keep using their coaches to grind out a better version of themselves will continue to see their draft stock improve. Those who don't are exposing a red flag to go along with what are most likely other red flags.

It’s not always so black and white though as Sanders vs a Cam Ward.
