Brashard Smith (RB SMU) is a player.

Most underrated RB in the draft. Former WR ran a 4.39 at the combine.

He went a lot later than I thought he would, but I really feel like Brashard Smith can be a dynamite playmaker as a rusher, receiver, and returner.

Are the concerns about his blocking in pass sets overblown? He had an overall pretty good grade in pass blocking at SMU and seems to have had 3 bad games last year that resulted in no sacks given up and only 2 pressures all year.

So, he will need to step his game up to be effective at the NFL level but the ability to do the job effectively has been on display at the college level.

Eh, the league had him as a 7th rounder for a reason.

Now he could play up way above that here, because of andy and Pat, hopefully.

I was just saying if he produces at a level like Pacheco has that's a big win. He seems like a very different type back to me as well.

RB's basically always fall but I'm going to assume his 1 year experience at the position had a ton to do with it.

Best case scenario he's a guy that can take 15-20 touches a game and be a big play threat in the run and receiving game.

I think worst case scenario though is he's your return man and an explosive role player which is good for a 7th rounder.

Dude, this was an insanely good RB class. I don't care where he went. He is a better prospect than Pacheco was an I will die on that hill.

He’s very similar to Cook for Buffalo, from what I’ve seen. I wouldn’t shut up about Cook predraft and think this kid can be just as good.

I had a hunch and called that Smith would fall the to the 7th. The draft was stacked at RB and like you said he only had the one year at the position, but man, he’s going to be a late round gem for us!

He's gotta prove he can run between the tackles in the NFL and hold up. If he can do that, then the sky's the limit.

He did play RB in HS, which is why I think he had so much success so quickly. The biggest thing is pass pro, because that is something he obviously didn't have to do at a high level until last year.

15-20 touches or targets is an insanely high workload lol. For where he was picked. For the best franchise in the highest revenue sport in America
