Off to Denver...

Flying out today... Mojo socks in tow, along with my Old School Elway jersey and orange hat. No pants for luck... Ok, I'm wearing pants.

Looks like were going to get some pretty fair weather:

Mainly sunny. High 41F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph.

Nice!

Here's to a great weekend, and my perfect record at home.

Go Broncos!

Has to leave a sour taste in Denver fans mouth. It wasn't even a game from start to finish. It's tough, especially when you get bent over like that on your home field.
There are around a dozen threads on the front page of the mane about how good of a QB Plummer is.

TJ to bad it was not a better game.

Glad your Broncos lost.

Still I hope you had a good time, I know I sure would enjoy getting to go to a Chiefs AFC championship game if the chance ever presents itself again, though I doubt it will before I die, unless Carl quits.

I totally disagree and I think any "real" fan would want their team to play the AFC Championship at home. Even if they lost I would still want that opportunity, that 1 game at home to go to the SB. To say otherwise is just plain stupid.

I would have agreed 10-15 years ago. Not anymore.

I don't get this. What is the downside of hosting the AFC Championship at home? So what if you lose. You get 1 chance, 1 game to go to the SB would you rather play the game on the road or at home?

I will take my chances at home, at Arrowhead with the best damn 12 man in the NFL.

I just got back from watching the games over at a friend's house (he's a life long Steeler fan). This sums up my thoughts of the game completely:

Not with the way the Broncos were playing. They reminded me of us during the 2003, 2001, 1997, 1995 seasons.....an illusion of luck, scheduling, and many breaks. They were a paper tiger. Yes, they beat the Patriots.....with the aid of 5 turnovers. Without that, they'd have gotten theirs last weekend.

2001?

BTW, the 97 team was NOT a paper tiger.
