He's still an excellent FB.

The Daily News gave him in "A-" this past year in their end of season grades:

FB Tony Richardson (A-) -- Old as dirt, but he's still an effective blocker.

If TRich had been on this team in the 2009 season you can bet we'd be getting into the endzone on 1st and goal inside the 5 instead of kicking fgs.

T Rich made 900k last year. KC has been putting tender offers on bums for 1.6 to 1.7 million. They could sign T Rich for 1 million or so if they wanted.
