PS3 has had day one digital releases for a while now.

I'll use my acct as the example.

I have 4 Live accts. I buy, say Black Ops 2 install it on my upstairs console under my profile. I "share" the game with the other 3 profiles on my acct. I can play upstairs & my kids can go to the basement console, log in under their account & play the same game - no discs.

If that's how it works on PS3, I'm going to be a little pissed that I don't have one sitting in my house right now.

LOL yeah that is exactly how it works. Anything you have downloaded on one account is available on ALL accounts on your PS3 . And you can create as many accounts as you want, for free of course. I think all of your downloaded content can be on a maximum of 3 separate PS3's.

EDIT: After my first PS3 stopped reading discs I started downloading games instead of using discs and I have transferred all of the games over to my second PS3 since then.

No. You can download the entire game from the PSN store. And the big games will be available for download in the PSN store the day it releases.

I guess here is where I am. I guess im going to wait, because i cant find anyone to tell me without bias, as to which is the better, GAMING system. ie, is the Xbone going to have over heating issues, so that they have to slow it down as to not face the RROD all over again. How are the graphics comparable, which runs smoother. These are the only things i care about when buying a gaming system.

I do not care about all of the bells and whistles the xbone provides. I do not need it to be voice activated. I do not need it to project snowflakes falling on my wall. I dont want to have to be online every 24 hours if i so choose.

Please. Help me out. I want to know which one is going to have better graphics, is going to be long term durable, and have the best selection of games, and the faster processing speeds. When I hear that the xbone may only run games at half the speed of the playstation, why should i ever consider the xbone. Now, with that being said, i was a ps2 loyalist, but I went with the 360, so i have zero ZEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO loyalty issues to brand. The only reason I went with the 360 was for Halo, and Gears of War. Well, now halo sucks, and Gears of war sucks, so now im looking for other ideas......

If you buy a disc based game you will need the disc, my bad. I don't think you can install entire disc based games onto your hard drive on the PS3.

Ok. I knew I was missing something - I feel better now. I was starting to consider turning in my gamer license since I had no idea about that shit.

MS works the same way with digital downloads. You can access them on any console over any acct tied to the main Live acct.

What MS is talking about doing now, is not only for the digital downloads, but for disc based games as well.

They will be pretty much the same graphically. The PS4 has slightly better specs. The game selection will also be pretty much the same, each console will have their own good exclusives.

We still don't know everything about either console, if you are on the fence just wait a few months until more info is released about them.

Sounds like your best bet is to wait until the systems are out and people are playing on them to see which is right for you. That's what I'm doing.
