Why do people not get this? Shit Bowe is going to have an 800-yard season...which is all any WR has ever done with Smith at QB.

That dropped TD he had was I believe against a backup for Ike Taylor? So a 3rd stronger beating a top 5 paid WR? I'm not saying Bowe sucks. He's a good WR, but he's not worth anywhere north of $8 million. The fact this guy is getting $14 million is mind boggling. He needs to restructure his contract

I know, I know, its Smiths fault that Reid doesn't make him adjust and throw the ball to the open WR. As long as Smith has an easy outlet he will take it, if Reid wont adjust, why should Alex? Comes down to terrible coaching and game day planning along with dumpster fire QB play. Add those two together and you get the Chuefs. |

They made due with the scraps that were there in 2013, wideouts had their TDs and Avery was getting thrown bombs on the 9 route until he hurt his shoulder. Then all of a sudden Dorsey thought it was okay to go into this season without adding to this position at all which proved to only expose the worthlessness of the younger prospects he was counting on like Hemmingway/Jenkins and Avery's brokedickness. So yeah, the QB position didn't change, the wideouts just got worse than they already were.

Reid and Smith need to get him the ball.
He's been targeted a third less than his years with guys like Huard. Can't put up numbers if you aren't getting the touches. Not a SINGLE RECEIVER HAS A TD. The Scheme and QB suck.

Once people actually turn from page 1 of the CP 101 manual "Blame the QB for everything" they actually see that there are glaring issues with Reid and his horizontal passing game. |

Yup. That's Reid's guy so it falls on his shoulders.

The conservative play-it-safe- Alex Smith is THE fixed Alex Smith. The throw it around the field Smith is a bottom 5 QB. Harbaugh "fixed" him. Reid, for some unknown reason, though the fixed version was good enough. It isn't. He is who he is and he is a large part of what is holding the team back.
