So, Duron Carter...

What do you guys know, what do you guys think... does he have a snowballs chance in hell?

On one hand, if he was so damn good... wouldnt he already be in the NFL?

On the other, he does have the right bloodlines and likely a good head on his shoulders from having a solid man for a pappy.

I dont know jack about him, what do you guys know?

The guy "really shined" in a league where all the hype from last year was Weston Dressler. How'd he do, again? Oh ya, he's back to being a "Roughrider."

I wouldn't be upset at all if the Chiefs took him, but I simply don't expect to get anything out of him that you wouldn't get from another 4th-5th round prospect.

There was really only one play in that actually impressed me, some guy was grabbing the hell out of his jersey as he started across the middle and he fought through it nicely to make the catch.

Some other catches were pretty nice, but as you say, gotta consider the DB's he's going against... I did notice him repeatedly let too many catches get into his body.

He I believe is going to be a number two at worst. If you watch some of his highlights on youtube, you can see a guy who has put in the work.

He would do well here, he runs great routes, and would be the guy to get separation that Alex Smith needs.
JD is a cross between Mother Teresa and Gandhi compared to Rudy.

All in all I'd say meh, couldnt hurt to give him a camp invite.

Lacks explosion. The very first highlight, with the double move, brought back memories of Jon Baldwin's double move. No way NFL DB's wouldn't close on that in a heartbeat.

His hands seem good, but notice that most of the time he never actually attacks the ball, instead letting it fall into his lap. That's how the football gets intercepted.

Also, his build is awfully slight. It looks like he barely puts in time in the weight room. He has chicken legs.

Most of his big plays are the result of absolutely terrible DB play. He doesn't look overly fast, and if the field wasn't enormous in the CFL, half of the TDs he scored wouldn't have happened.

You know he started this thread to ask about the guy, right? He was making no definite statements. He was just showing curiosity.

Hard to disagree with any of this, but if he wants to eat some Wheaties and show up for camp... the more the merrier.

Seems like the only reason anybody is really talking about the dude is because who his dad is. Which doesn't equate to anything for me.
