Dorsey was crazy pumped by the trade and pick. It's his deal and he will always get 1000% of the credit/blame for Mahomes. Clarkbar and his new GM won't accept a discounted amount of credit for the Chiefs success over the next 15 years. Mahomes will not be the franchise QB of the Chiefs. Think about it, Mahomes is Dorsey's signiature deal. If Mahomes becomes a stud, Clarkbar looks like an idiot for dumping Dorsey. This could not have happened at a worse time.

They will give credit to Andy Reid for coaching him up. Andy Reid had say in the pick or it wouldn't have happened. If we promote from internally then it's just a matter of our scouts keep getting us quality in the draft that's all we have to worry about.
