It's a matter of how he does it, rather than because he does it. There's a lot of vets on the board, he's the only one that's ever caused any problems in that way that I'm aware of. Even other vets have spoken up about it, criticizing him.

He can rub people the wrong way about pretty much anything, though, whether it's military service, politics, football, or anything else. He's a very pompous guy who's extremely condescending to anybody who doesn't see things exactly his way. He's also passive-aggressive, and after he draws out any kind of reaction with the variety of standard insults he likes to throw out, he curls up in a ball and accuses everybody of piling on him and making it personal instead of sticking to whatever the topic happens to be. Usually by throwing out the Planet Party Line (PPL). He apparently likes to look at himself as some kind of martyr against the evil online world.

It's been going on for years and years and years, same script, over and over ad nauseum.
