Upton is batting .229/.310/.395 with 15 home runs and 52 RBI through 95 games this season. He landed on the trading block last week when the Rays called up Desmond Jennings.

How is he worth giving up anything at all to get him? Melky is .295/.332/.454 with 12 HR's and 57 RBI's. Cain is .318/.388/.521 with 11 HR's and 52 RBI's at AAA. Last year in 43 games for the Brewers he was .306/.348/.415 as a ****in rookie which are numbers Upton has never matched! The only thing he has going for him over the two players we currently have the rights to is stolen bases. His fielding % isn't as good as Melky's or Gordon's who also have 10 and 16 assists compared to Upton's 5. As mentioned since 2007 he has been a declining player. The only guy I would trade to get him would be Davies. Anyone other than that and it would be insane.
