That is the same case for me. I imagine that when the creators of Redbox thought to put their product in McDonalds they felt like they were having an epiphany.

That is strange. IIRC the first place they popped up was McDonald's, at least here in KC anyways. I remember a local grocery store had movie rentals but then about 5 years ago that got replaced by some weird new thing called a Redbox

Yeah, first place I ever saw one was the McD in Belton. I rarely go to McDonald's, so I couldn't tell you if that's abnormal down here in AL.
