I would do it. Johnson's an elite player and can win a matchup for your team on 1 play. And McGahee seems to be a great goal line option too.

Well I snoozed and I lost. He ended up trading Calvin elsewhere.
There's literally nothing on the waiver wire at RB.

1) McGahee is likely out this week, as is Reggie Bush. I have no depth so I would have basically punted this week. 2) Stafford's injury. First it was a hammy, now it's a hip. I love Calvin a lot, but hopefully the cold feet don't come back to haunt me.

I'd have taken it. McGahee gets goal line work because Peyton likes to audible down to runs. Calvin Johnson is a no brainer.

As a Calvin owner, I kind of hope Hill gets a shot. Stafford doesn’t look comfortable in the pocket and his attitude seems to be “use Calvin as a decoy, get it to the other guys”. Hill is the only reason Calvin put up 30+ a couple weeks ago – he was around 15 when Stafford got hurt (with only a few minutes left).
