Gannon was a dink and dunker with some mobility, he was probably the biggest system-made QB ever in Oakland. I don't think anyone felt like he was going to beat them with his arm. His MVP might have been statistically justified and he might have represented a highwater mark for QBing in Oakland for decades, but that is a low standard.
