And now he may just have a chance to get an actual difference maker at the position.

This is very true, although with the new rookie salary cap, had they taken either of those guys, it wouldn't have been cost prohibitive to take another stab at the position in 2013.

I just hope that the Chiefs do everything, and I mean everything, possible to nab Geno Smith.
