This is very true, although with the new rookie salary cap, had they taken either of those guys, it wouldn't have been cost prohibitive to take another stab at the position in 2013.

I just hope that the Chiefs do everything, and I mean everything, possible to nab Geno Smith.

And the way he did things, it still won't be cost prohibitive for him to take that stab.
