Rob Gronkowski and Dunlap. You could make a case for several others like Ben Tate since we don't have a back up to Jamaal Charles. |

Gronk is the only guys you can say for sure would offer more than Flowers at this point. No way on Dunlap and a backup RB or a top 10 CB? Serious? |

If Jamaal Charles goes down who do we have? Ben Tate is a nice player who's only a backup because Arian Foster is one of the best backs in the league. So tell me in 2014 how does John Dorsey make much needed improvements to the offense with limited gap space? |

He was in a numbers game, and lost. If they had known Culliver was going down like that, he never would of been cut. For all of Alex Smiths faults, one of his more attractive traits, is his light salary. Cutting Chase is far more the likely answer.

Yeah, the point was you have about a 10% chance at best of finding a comparable player. A bird in the hand and all that jazz.
Just looked at 09. It's about the same. 3-4 guys that catch your eye and McCoy is the Gronk of that class. |

Even with the guys selected, I'm still not sure how much more value/impact they'd have than Flowers (sans Gronk, injury and all). It'd be nice to have another absolute monster playing ILB next to DJ but I'd rather be 3 deep at corner.
