Richard Sherman might be the biggest douche in the NFL

What a childish douche.

He doesn't need upside. He's already done more than most. Perhaps you'd rather have someone like Tannehill...I'll take Kaep.
Kap has a superior team. Kap completed under 60 percent of his passes and turned the ball over 3 times in one quarter.

...against one of the best defenses in the NFL in a stadium he's struggled in before...

You guys take Tannehill, I'll take Kaep. Cool?

You don't think at risk kids should emulate a well spoken nfl player with a Stanford education? A player who writes for cnnsi and who can joke around and be self deprecating interviewing fans?

A player who doesn't have off field problems. A guy who stepped up and saved the game for his team?

Seems like they could do much worse.

Richard Sherman may not be a role model, but he probably should be.

It's not just Sherman, our entire culture is now all about voicing our opinions as loudly as possible. Keeping your private thoughts private left when people started tweeting their dinners and bowel movements.

Would I have been proud that my son was an elite player in the NFL, sure. Would it have stopped me from pulling on his ear and nagging him about being a BETTER role model? Not in the slightest.

I agree..society has changed. Owing businesses has put me in situations where employees believe they can say what they want. Most of the time it ends up with the employee not working for me any more.

it's part of the "Show" that the NFL has become.

Just do away with the interviews, don't have the cameras show all the reeruned celebrations / scripted dances for routine plays etc.

Wow, you made a tackle after a 7 yard gain on 1st down....You should probably get up and do the Ultimate Warrior dance because you're such a bad ass.

Bowe's pointing to his name drives me nuts too. Yeah, you're the only one who made that 5 yard catch in the endzone possible

How many baseball players stand at home plate to watch their homerun sail out to the bleachers?

$*%&(*$%&(* bastard *($#% ****ing *$(*% asshole *$&(* barrybonds

Hockey players are the only ones that have quick easy victory hurrahs. And I'm pretty sure that's because even hockey players are shocked when someone scores.
