I couldn't agree more. People are over simplifying Clark's role (or at least what his role should be) and the importance of the right culture in a business.

Its fair enough to point out that Clark, even with the hands off style he prefers, didnt interject himself to veto many basic, obvious bad decisions... he is far from perfect and certainly not blameless in this, he cant let some smooth talking pocket dictator make every call again.

But isnt it also fair enough to point out that he merits another swing, he took a big, surprising one with his first shot... 95% of the known football world considered it a HUGE, defining moment splash for this franchise...at the time *ahem* it screamed WE PLAN TO WIN.

Clark cares, and he isnt clueless, you think the world of his zoccer team... give him the respect and chance to do it with real football.
