So I'm out of town this past weekend. I end up at a sports type restaurant/bar with a couple of buddies I went with. We are there watching tv for 3 or 4 hours, and in that time this gorgeous brunette sitting right behind me starts smiling when I walk by and in general, taking an interest in me. I'm married with kids. Happily. Dont wander on the wife and dont think I ever could. BUT, this gal had me mezmerized. Something about her, cant really explain it. She smelled great and had a beautiful smile, hair, and veluptuous (not at all "fat") body. I realized I was getting pretty damned attracted to her and decided I had to put the brakes on. I told my buddies we should go check out another bar or two. We left, that is all. How can you barely know someone and then have a hard time stopping thinking about her? Wierd stuff. Had to share.

Yep that is how I operate also. This one was different probably cause I'm 43 and this gal was 25. Who says falttery will get you knowhere?

Maybe she likes has a thing for married old dudes. Or perhaps you are one of those guys in their early 40's who, when they go to a bar, think that all the young, hot chicks are scoping them out, because, you know, you still have it. Or, you could be one of those guys in their early 40's whose married and has a girl smile at them and thinks that there is this insanely fantastic connection because the wife isn't looking as good as she used to but, in your eyes, you are still the same guy you were at 26. Or she could have a psychological manifestation of a paternal Oedipal complex.

Or she could have been a hooker. Because most hot chicks in their 20's don't **** fossils for free.

But I think it's that most guys in their early 40's are on their last grasp of "I'm still as hot and virile as I was in my 20's so you know she's wanting me because she smiled at me." delusional physical I'm entering middle age and I'll think what I want to think and I think that hot 20 somethings still find me attractive type of thing.

I'm sure that does happen quite a bit. Almost as much as 25 year old gals diggin a 43 year old guy because they are tired of the same immature pick up lines and bulldogging they get from 20 year old guys. Not to mention it must seem like a breath of fresh air to talk to someone of the opposite sex that finds you attractive and has emotional and conversational chemistry with you but they aren't looking for every chance to get in your pants. Could be that too.
