Chiefs Thoughts going into the bye.

It's hard to feel anything but pretty happy after a 4-game win streak.

I will say that I have lost some confidence in our offense. For the last few years, I just became accustomed to great things happening. Pat would load up to throw downfield and I was like "**** yeah!". These days I'm expecting an errant pass or a tipped INT.

At the same time, I have gained a lot of confidence in the defense.

If we're able to put the pieces together when it matters down the stretch, we can make it back to the Super Bowl. Like, if the offense that played @ Vegas shows up with the defense against the Cowboys last night? Pssh. We will stomp anyone we play. It'll be a slaughterhouse.

And looking at the schedule coming out of the bye, it isn't too bad:

Broncos
Raiders
@ Chargers
Steelers
@ Bengals
@ Broncos

Aside from going to LA on a short week, all of those games are pretty favorable for us. We've got a great shot at running the table.
